Spur Aviation Services is a certified Part 135 operator and has proudly served communities across the nation since 2002. Based in Twin Falls, Idaho, at the Magic Valley Regional Airport (KTWF), we specialize in precision aerial firefighting and dependable charter operations. Our experienced team and well-maintained fleet ensure safe, efficient, and responsive service when it matters most. Important Milestones
2002
Spur Aviation Service, LC was founded with primary focus on wildland fire operation by providing 3 Shrike 500s Piston Commanders. By 2009 the fleet grew to 6 Shrike commanders all with matching paint schemes.
2011
Turbo Aero Commanders began to be added to the fleet with 680 v/w and 690 a/b/d models. With the addition of the turbine commanders, quicker response time to incidents were capable with longer flight time.
2018
Spur Aviation has the largest Air Attack fleet in the country, offering 17 Commanders comprised of Piston and Turbine Models.
2023
Spur Aviation began introducing PC-12s into the company fleet, as well as one Turbine Beaver.
2024
Spur Aviation began to provide Fire Mapping and Detection services with specially equipped dual sensor special mission PC-12s
2026
Spur Aviation celebrates 24 years of providing wildland fire operation services, and gains a second dual sensor special mission PC-12
